SUMMARY:SVP1833 Young Adults Service Day - Brixton
DESCRIPTION:In partnership with Caritas Westminster\, join the SVP1833 team for a day of service! Everyone is welcome (18-35 year olds)\, all you need is a willingness to get involved. We will be taking practical action to distribute Vinnie Packs to the homeless. It is an opportunity to serve and share a drink in the pub after! A travel bursary is available!  \nOur SVP1833 Service Day is on 20th June at St Vincent’s Centre\, Talma Road\, Brixton\, SW2 1AS. It is a 10 minute walk from Brixton train station. The day will start at 11 am and end at 3.30pm\, alongside optional 10am Mass at Corpus Christi\, 11 Trent Road\, SW2 5BJ and an optional 4pm pub trip. \nVinnie packs are comprised of the following items: toothpaste\, soap\, cards of affirmation\, foil blankets\, plus some other goodies. A safety briefing/training will be given on the day as we are ministering to vulnerable people and you will never be serving on your own. \nPlease bring your own packed lunch and drinks for the day.
