Employee Fundraising Activities
Fundraising can be a fun way to involve your employees for the benefit of the community and staff wellbeing.
We can give you a list of fun and interesting ways that you and your colleagues can raise money.
Want information or support with your fundraising efforts? Contact us at caritaswestminster@rcdow.org.uk
Donations can then be made directly to us via our online donations platform, or to our bank account (details provided on request).
You can choose to donate to a specific service or make a general donation to Caritas Westminster.
Don’t forget to tell us when you have done this so we know who to thank!
Fund one of our Programmes or Services
You can choose to make a financial commitment in a number of ways:
Choose us as your charity of the year
- We can offer a dedicated account manager to help you get the most out of working with us.
- A choice of highly impactful projects to support
- Volunteering opportunities for your staff.
Make a donation
- Making a one-off donation is easy and can have a huge impact on people experiencing poverty, disability, isolation or exploitation.
- You can choose which of our highly impactful programmes to support.
Establish a cause related marketing project
- We can help you build customer engagement and drive donations through an innovative cause related marketing campaign based around one of your products.
Pro Bono Support
This helps us keep our costs down, ensuring our supporters’ donations go further, and can bring helpful skills and knowledge into the charity.
Perhaps you have capacity to help us deliver a communications campaign, or maybe one of your staff could coach someone in our management team? It need only be for a few hours a week, or a few days a year: your specialist help could make all the difference to helping us better support the people we serve.
Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving, also known as Give as You Earn, is a scheme that allows employees to make donations to UK charities directly from their pay, before tax, but after National Insurance contributions. This method of giving is both tax-efficient for employees and beneficial for charities.
If your organisation offers a Give as You Earn scheme, why not speak to your HR department about adding Caritas Westminster to the list of charities that you can donate to.
Donating in Kind
We also welcome non-monetary donations. This can be raffle prizes for our Christmas events to much needed items for our life-long learning centre or our safe house.
Please get in touch if you would like to support our work in this way so we can discuss what items you’d like to donate.
