A selection of artwork created by guests of Caritas Bakhita House will be displayed in the ground floor corridor of the London Jesuit Centre, showcasing the incredible talents of the women who have walked through the safe house’s doors.
Crafted by guests during in-house art sessions led by artist and printmaker John R Bateson-Hill, the pieces showcase one of the many facets of the healing process for women recovering from the trauma of trafficking and exploitation.
Certain items on display will be accompanied by stories of the women who created them, to give insight into their artistic process and the therapeutic power of art.
