Are you looking for a meaningful way to serve your parish and community?
Our Caritas Parish Representatives play a vital role in connecting their parish with Caritas Westminster and supporting local social outreach initiatives. As the social action agency of the Diocese of Westminster, our mission is to love and serve our neighbours through coordinated outreach and activities, and to support parishes and schools in how they live their mission of love and service in their own local area.
As one of our Parish Representatives you:
• Act as the main point of contact between Caritas Westminster and your parish.
• Raise awareness of Caritas’ services and signpost people in need to the right support.
• Work with your parish priest and local volunteers to identify and address social issues.
• Promote and participate in initiatives such as the Advent Giving Calendar and food support projects.
• Attend occasional meetings and training to stay updated and share ideas.
We are looking for people who are:
• Passionate about social justice and supporting your community.
• A good communicator who can engage with parish members and volunteers.
• Compassionate, approachable, and reliable.
• No prior experience needed—just a willingness to get involved

Hours per month:
Flexible, typically up to 4 hours per month, plus occasional meetings and training. The time commitment depends on your availability and parish needs and will be agreed with you before taking up the role.
Support offered:
Comprehensive support and training will be provided. You will have a named Caritas Development Worker for ongoing support.
