A Christian Ministry of hope and helping all

We are a Christian ministry providing help to those in need.  Our clients are from a range of cultural backgrounds who have suffered the trauma of street homelessness, mental health,  poverty, and loneliness. We provide them with cooked food, food parcels, clothes, showers, foot care, barbering, classes, games, a warm place and company for a few hours.

Volunteers are expected to carry out general functions on a weekly rota basis, which could include setting up and packing food parcels, issuing tickets and maintaining queuing systems, assisting in the kitchen, washing up and serving dinner, clothes or food parcels, and cleaning and clearing up.

Being able to deal with vulnerable clients, being people-friending and being willing to serve and work as part of a team is a requirement.

This a Friday daytime volunteering post, taking place from 9am – 5pm.
