The Caritas Community Development team work closely with parishes and schools across the diocese to support them in setting up or developing social action initiatives. This could include help with sustainability, volunteer recruitment, sharing expertise and other aspects of project management.
Each of our Development Workers oversees a particular geographical area of the diocese, allowing you to link with a specific team member who can follow your projects. Many of our Development Workers also lead on specific areas of service, including Food Security, Homelessness, Asylum Seekers, Youth and Catholic Social Teaching.
