Caritas Volunteer Service

Putting faith into action

The Caritas Volunteer Service aims to make voluntary service as easy as possible in the Diocese of Westminster (London and Hertfordshire).

We do this by allowing charities, parishes and local outreach projects to make volunteering opportunities available on our website, which people who want to volunteer can then apply for.

In addition, we run events to help people get started in volunteering and to support active volunteers.

The service is free for organisations and individuals, and is open to members of all faiths and none.

Make 2025 a rewarding year through volunteering!

A Jubilee Volunteering Fair will take place on 8 March as part of the Jubilee of the World of Volunteering weekend (8-9 March 2025). Come along and meet staff and volunteers from a range of charities and social action projects.

Date: Saturday 8 March 2025, 3pm – 5pm
Location: Westminster Cathedral Hall

Connect

people who want to volunteer with parishes, charities and social action projects who are looking for volunteers. We do this through events like volunteering fairs, through this website and networking.

Support

volunteers and volunteering in the diocese and wider community, including training, resources and recognition.
