What you will be doing:

• Meeting casual callers, dealing with basic enquiries, giving out information and advice leaflets
• Recording client details on first contact by telephone or in person
• Booking appointments for clients and confirming these in writing
• Completing Legal Help financial eligibility forms with clients and obtaining and copying evidence of income
• Transferring client information onto a computer database and ensuring that missing key information is obtained and entered

Skills Needed:

• Have good written and oral communication and customer service skills
• Being able to multitask
• Numeracy skills
• Have administrative experience
• Have an orderly approach to record keeping and an eye for detail
• Ability to use Microsoft word and email software and a willingness/ability to learn new IT packages
• Desirable: Able to speak another language
