Slavery is not something of the past; today it is replaced by what is called modern day slavery. Modern day slavery is very much present in our communities be it at the high street nail bars, car wash places, food takeaways or supply chains. Human trafficking is modern day slavery.

Caritas Bakhita House owned by the Diocese of Westminster and managed by Caritas Westminster, is an escape for women from human trafficking providing its guest’s safety, support and help in their recovery process.

In this broadcast of “Talking Faith ” Lavoisier Fernandes talks with House Manager Anna Ringler and Service Manager & former Metropolitan Police Officer Karen Anstiss on Human trafficking, St.Josephine Bakhita, and Caritas Bakhita House.
