The students at Caritas St Joseph’s were thrilled to receive Bishop Paul McAleenan to their Christmas Carol Service in Hendon on Saturday 7 December.
The service began with the students, their families and friends, writing prayer intentions on a bauble to be hung on a wooden “Christmas tree”. The students performed a tableau of the Nativity story and carols were sung in candlelight.
Mince pies and mulled wine followed and a sale of goods made by our students. Everyone enjoyed this festive start to the Christmas season.
