This is a wonderful initiative to befriend older people in care homes, who can feel just as lonely, if not more, than older people living in the community. We’re looking for people across the London Borough of Richmond to volunteer – full training and support will be given. It’s an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of some of the oldest and most vulnerable elderly in our society. Ideally we’d like you to be able to give an hour a week to this rewarding task.
