At Notre Dame Refugee Centre, we extend a warm welcome to refugees and asylum seekers. Our centre is a place where individuals can find expert advice and the opportunity to participate in a range of activities at the centre.
The Volunteer Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals in our kitchen. This includes following recipes, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met, and adapting menus to meet dietary requirements as needed. In this role, you’ll work as part of a team to ensure the smooth preparation of lunch for approximately 30-40 visitors at our centre, who have a variety of dietary needs.
