The Schools Volunteer Co-ordinator will help to run CAFOD’s school visits programme. You will support and motivate a dedicated group of school volunteers in your local area. This is a rewarding opportunity for people with a passion for encouraging others and making a real difference.

The Schools Volunteer Coordinator will:

1) Build positive relationships with school volunteers; answering their queries, sharing resources with them and supporting them to become familiar with these resources.

2) Administer the running of the school volunteer programme; send letters to schools and volunteers, allocate schools to volunteers and collate the visits to schools.

3) Monitor volunteering activity and school visits.

4) Carry out some analysis, with the help of the CPC, of which schools have been visited and which have donated.

You will need to be:

1) Friendly and welcoming with good interpersonal skills and enjoy supporting others.

2) Comfortable with using IT, especially email, and be willing to learn new skills.

3) Organised and accurate and show attention to detail.

4) Have a commitment and passion for CAFOD’s work and values.

Training and continuous support are provided for this role.
