Last week, Seeds Hub was proud to celebrate the completion of its Wembley and Hackney Accelerator Programmes, aimed at helping entrepreneurs take their social impact business to the next level.
Course participants were invited to a graduation party at Bootstrap Charity in Dalston, for an afternoon of networking, fellowship and sharing their achievements.
The afternoon opened with a welcome from Kathy Margerison, Head of Enterprise at Caritas Westminster, and speeches from members of the Seeds Hub team. Elsa Caleb, a freelance Business Advisor supporting Seeds Hub, also reflected on her experiences mentoring each of the course participants, and spoke movingly about the drive, learning and growth she witnessed over the course of the programme.
This was followed by the distribution of certificates and a time of socialising to meet other business founders. A generous spread of food was also provided by entrepreneurs who took part in the course.
While the 2025 Accelerator Programme has drawn to a close, Seeds Hub is excited to have opened applications for this year’s Start-Up Programme; find out more and apply here.
Seeds Hub, a project of Caritas Westminster, supports entrepreneurs facing economic or social inequalities who want to start or grow a social impact business. The initiative aims to tackle an acute lack of diversity in the start-up community, by providing courses, mentoring and a workspace to business founders from across the Diocese of Westminster.
