Caritas Westminster is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 ‘Love in Action’ Volunteering Awards, recognising outstanding volunteers from across the Diocese of Westminster.
Returning for the fourth time since their creation in 2021, the ‘Love in Action’ Volunteering Awards honour the achievements of individuals and groups who volunteer in a range of capacities, with award categories including young people, parish volunteers, lifetime achievement, social action and more.
Nominations can be made at this link, and are open until 31 July. Once all nominations have been received, they will be reviewed by an independent panel of judges, who will choose finalists for each of the six award categories.
Finalists will be invited to an awards ceremony on 26 November at Westminster Cathedral Hall, where winners will be announced and awards will be distributed by Bishop Paul McAleenan, Chair of Caritas Westminster.
‘We are incredibly excited to host these awards again,’ said Elke Springett, Volunteer Coordinator at Caritas Westminster. ‘It is a privilege to gain insight into the many kinds of voluntary service taking place in our diocese, and to highlight the work of volunteers who often do not seek recognition or praise.’
